About 4 years ago, I was sitting on the bench, outside the gym, at a Super Saturday Session, and just before the games were about to begin, I looked over to my friend Ted, who was seated beside me, and said "we need more courts and a place to call our own". My statement was a follow-up to a conversation that had been going on about how we had lots of people who wanted to play with us but couldn't because we only had access to 3 courts. He then got up and as he was walking into the gym, looked back at me and emphatically said "yes we do". That was when my idea to create a pickleball facility was reignited and started to take flight, again.
Our Mission
As Manitoba's first dedicated pickleball-only facility, we are committed to promoting and developing the sport by providing opportunities for people of all skill levels, ages, as well as those from various socio-economic backgrounds. Our focus is on fostering a welcoming environment for everyone and anyone - we want to be an accessible, inclusive, and diverse community. There are opportunities for all to access coaching and special events.

PCW will eventually provide its members and the community a complete pickleball destination including a kitchen, licensed areas, and a Pro Shop, in addition to the top-notch essentials: competition-grade courts, highest ceilings in MB, ample space around all sides, specialized not-in-your eyes court lighting, and plenty of viewing areas. Coaching and Lessons are available to both members and non-members. It should be emphasized that PCW is open to both members and non-members, all the time. We are also very interested in collaborating with community groups and private businesses.

Clinic: Dinks with a Purpose
Join us to learn the basics! This clinic teaches the basic rules, proper grip, and essential skills so you can start playing with your friend! You will learn to keep score, serve, return, rally, and safe footwork techniques.

Clinic: Foundations 2
This clinic is for those who have taken our Intro course or have a basic understanding of pickleball. Here you will build on the fundamentals of this exciting sport in a fun and supportive environment. You will learn next-level skills like dinking, volleys, the third-shot drop, and other essential techniques, strategies, and gameplay to ensure you gain confidence and enjoy every match!

This clinic is tailored for players who are ready to elevate their game with advanced shot selection, stronger tatical thinking, and dynamic movement patterns. The focus will be on refining techniques, improving court awareness, and fostering competitive play in a supportive environment!
